We die the way we live!

There lived a man who I knew right from when I was a little child.

We all knew him as the pool man.

We never knew his kith or kin. No brother, no sister, no family.

No affiliation with any church, mosque or tribal association.

But day in day out, his place always had people in them.

Pool players and the pool papers were all the family he had and we knew …. Maybe all he needed.

We heard stories that he got married and had a child but of course, since they were not frequent visitors to his house a lot of people saw it as mere gist.

He lived life simple and and alone save for his papers.

He died alone in the company of his pool papers….the only family and true friend he ever had.
